This been just short of five weeks since my new unibody MacBook arrived here, and while itĂs a thing of beauty to behold and seems to work very well so far, I still havenĂt switched to using it for my production platform. Apple quietly released updated 15" unibody MacBook Pros today. The base 2.4GHz MacBook Pro gets an optional 256GB SSD and remains at $1999.

The high-end 15" model gains a 2.66GHz CPU, up from 2.53GHz, with an optional 2.93GHz CPU available as a $300 build-to-order option and the optional 256Gb SSD. The previous BTO CPU was rated at 2.8GHz.
