Amazon.com has the new 4G iPods available for preorder today. Each iPod includes a free $50 Amazon.com gift certificate if purchased by August 1st. The 20GB iPod is available for $299, the 40GB iPod is available for $399. iPod minis are also available with the $50 gift card-- however, none are in stock this morning and are only available for preorder (gift card still applies, though): Silver, Gold, Blue, Green, Pink.
All 3G iPods are in stock today, and they, too, qualify for the $50 gift certificate. The 15GB iPod is available for $249.99, the 20GB 3G iPod is available for $299.99, and the 40GB 3G iPod is available for $399.99. The new iPods have been slightly redesigned and include a click wheel, similar to the one on the iPod mini, and 12 hour battery life. The 15GB model has been discontinued.
