We don't recall any PowerBook stock in recent years getting this low before a new product introduction. If you peruse our 15" PowerBook Price Tracker, you'll see that very few resellers are reporting stock of the 15" PowerBook. Those of you expecting a price drop on the current models when the updated PowerBooks are released may be in for a surprise -- there aren't any left to discount. They're all but gone. Here's what's left:

- Amazon.com: 867MHz model for $1994.99
- The Apple Store: 3-5 day wait for both 867MHz and 1GHz models.
- Best Buy reports a 1-2 day wait for both models. The 1GHz model is available with in-store pick up.
- Micro Center still has the 867MHz model available.
