PowerBook Duo 270c

The 270c is bascially the Duo equivalent of the 180c. It has a sharp, bright, active-matrix screen capable of displaying 256 colors and a relatively speedy (for the time) 33 MHz 68030 processor. This is a good choice for the mobile professional who demands lightweight and a color screen, but who just doesn't have the funds to buy a newer 2400c or 2300c. The 270c has a larger hard drive and more available memory than previous Duos and can hold its own even today when using basic applications. I'd recommend this laptop to anyone looking for a cheap Duo - spend the extra money on a 270c and pass up the previous Duos.
